Join Heather who will be sharing her journey of discovery when she ate wild food only as a participant in the 2025 Wildbiome Project. As a pescatarian and non-meat eater she undertook the trial for the month of April - having gathered wild ingredients over the preceding months - before her self-supported walk across Scotland with her daughter in May. She explores the difficulties of being a non-meat eater when eating wild food only and the ethos and research behind the project. Wild samples, cake and refreshments included.

Located in beautiful Knapdale, with special permission from Nature Scotland, this immersive half day experience offers an introduction to the principles of sustainable foraging amongst ancient woodland before enjoying a wild lunch together round the firepit at the Argyll Beaver Centre.
