How we're responding to COVID-19

Coronavirus update and policy March 2021

We appreciate this has been a difficult year for many and our deepest sympathy goes to those of you who have suffered great loss in this time.

As a company we strive to do what is best for our clients; your safety and physical and mental wellbeing are paramount.

As this next period of lockdown eases, we are once more opening our business in a considered way which we trust will make you feel safe and welcome. We may have to undertake business a little differently than pre-Covid but any extra measures are undertaken with you, our guides and the communities we visit in mind. Our aim is to ensure that you can enjoy and immerse your senses in the wonderful outdoors whilst staying safe and healthy.

We have completely updated many aspects of our business including Risk Assessments, PPE, Terms and Conditions and Operating and Emergency Procedures. These are necessary tweaks and we will be asking you, our clients, to play your part in helping to ensure we do not spread the virus whilst enjoying activities in our beautiful outdoors.

To take part in our activities we ask that you:

  • Respect the Government Guidelines that apply to the areas and communities we visit (see
  • Agree to our Terms and Conditions and return a Health & Emergency Contact Form
  • Agree that you will not, under any circumstances, attend this activity if: you are currently experiencing symptoms; have experienced symptoms in the last 10 days; have been in contact with any person showing symptoms within the last 10 days; have been asked to isolate through ‘track & trace’
  • Agree to look after yourself and others and maintain social distancing measures (2m) throughout the activity
  • Agree to come equipped with the right clothing and equipment as given on the Kit List to avoid the unnecessary sharing of items other than with those in your own household

In turn we will ensure that:

  • We only accept bookings for those who have agreed to our Terms and Conditions and returned a Health & Emergency Contact Form
  • We will only accept bookings for the number of people and/or households within Government Guidelines
  • We will ensure strict protocols are in place in line with our Risk Assessments including equipment use where appropriate
  • We will assist you as required and in an emergency in a safe and friendly manner

If you have made a booking and are unable to attend due to Coronavirus please get in touch with us as quickly as possible. This must be for a valid reason including:

  • Isolating with symptoms
  • Isolating after coming into contact with someone with symptoms
  • Being told to isolate through Track & Trace
  • Government lockdown rules.

Bookings made to participate in an activity on a date when any of the above were already in existence will be subject to our normal Terms and Conditions.

In all valid cases we will do our best to re-arrange your booking or offer a refund (this will be subject to any charges incurred by the payment provider and any fees incurred for services already provided).
