Welcome to Heathery Heights

Beauty, magic, peace ...

a glimpse of a rainbow as a shower scuds across the hills,

the sun painting bold strokes of green and purple against a blackened sky.

Come explore, immerse your senses

Feel the frosted wind or gentle drift of rain

See the light, the elegant sweeping glide of an eagle

Hear the crash of waves, an oyster catcher's lonely call

Touch the sand, the mud, the rock

Smell the salty tang of the ocean or sweet bloom of gorse and heather

Taste earth's bounty, foraged, nature's secret delight.

We want to enable you to get out there,

fall in love with nature AND feel fabulous!

Heathery Heights offers bespoke guided walks for individuals and small groups seeking adventure and solace in the beauty of our natural landscapes. Explore rocky coasts carved by time, wild sandy beaches, ancient woodlands, historic remains and the rugged mountains, lochs and glens that create this complex tapestry.

Whether you want a day to find peace in nature by the sea, to challenge yourself on a round of Wainwrights or Munros or enjoy a week's walking in beautiful Argyll, Heathery Heights will always welcome you with a friendly, attentive service. For learning experiences Heathery Heights also offers Navigation, Hill Skills and Foraging days from our base in Argyll. Well behaved dogs are welcome where appropriate.
