We had a fantastic day, although some of the girls don’t realise that yet, I’m sure they will in the next few weeks once the aches & pains have gone. Thank you to you & David for your guidance & patience, hopefully we will have raised £1000 for Diabetes uk. I’ll be in touch when I’ve talked the girls into doing the next one. Many thanks.
Some of our ladies said you are the best walking guide they have ever had!! Well done you x
I have worked with Heather on several occasions and have always found her to be highly competent and exceedingly professional. Her experience and qualifications makes her, in my opinion, one of the most dedicated mountain leaders I know. I have no qualms whatsoever in recommending her to anyone in need of a guide or leader in any mountainous aream.
Transitions UK is a charity working with disadvantaged young people. A team of nine of us went on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge to raise funds and Heather was our guide for the day. We were delighted. I cannot speak too highly of Heather's expertise, knowledge and leadership. She was incredibly patient with our less fit members and a fount of information and knowledge about the area. She is a pleasure to be with and a real asset to any trekking or walking group. I thoroughly recommend her to you.
I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to Heather, who was our guide for the 3 peaks on the 17th of June. She managed to get all of us round in 13 hours in 25+ degree heat! She was obviously so passionate about the outdoors and knew so much about the local area and landmarks, and even showed us hidden pot holes we would have never have known to look in. She kept us motivated and really took care of us on the steep climbs up some of the mountains. Heather also walked with me when I fell behind (which was ALOT) and kept me going when I had nothing left in me to give. She made the whole experience so much more enjoyable, and I don't think I could have done it without her.
Heather (and Rowan!) thanks for a brilliant day today - really appreciate it.
